I’m Nicole - Registered Midwife, birth educator and founder of Nest & Cradle. I’m also a mother of three beautiful children, living on Wurundjeri Country in a cutesy country town in regional Victoria.

After years working as a clinical Midwife in Melbourne, I’ve seen how powerful it is when women feel informed, supported and confident as they approach birth.

While my formal midwifery training took place in Victoria, I’ve also been fortunate to learn from traditional midwives around the world, deepening my appreciation for ancient pregnancy and postpartum practices that support women as they transition into motherhood.

I’m a trauma-informed practitioner with a strong passion for improving birth experiences and helping minimise the current rates of birth trauma in Australia. I’m also a certified Birth Cartographer - trained in birth mapping, and hold a certificate in pregnancy and postpartum massage. Basically, i’m constantly adding to my tool kit of ways I can support new mums.

Nest & Cradle brings these experiences together, offering evidence-based, realistic birth preparation to help women and their partners walk into birth feeling calm, informed and confident.
